RIAD CAROL - MARRAKECH

£95 or 130 euros per day for the whole Riad (up to 6 people)

Minimum  of 2 nights

Riad Carol is a small but beautiful house surrounding a courtyard in the Bab Doukkala area of the Medina of Marrakech. It is situated less than 15mins walk from the souks. The Riad was fully restored in January 2007,providing comfortable accommodation in the Moroccan style. We love it and hope that you will too.

We have put a lot of thought into the renovation using the property to its full potential. Marrakech is very hot in the summer and although warm in the winter it cools down quickly in the evenings when the sun goes down. Because of this we decided to build a lounge and kitchen on the 2nd floor, this means that when the weather is cooler you can capture all of the heat available. Also in the summer if you wish to sunbathe you can prepare food without having to go down to the ground floor.

We tend to spend most of our time in the Riad on the top floors enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. The views over the Medina and the mountains are superb, this is where you really feel as though you are in a different world. At night you can see the plumes of smoke arising from the open air restaurants in the main square.

The ground floor and courtyard are very cool and in the height of the summer you can really escape from the heat and the bustle of the city.

We have a lovely lady called Latifa who comes in every morning, at a time to suit you, to prepare breakfast for you, this consists of:

Fresh fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, crepes, pain au chocolate, bread, butter and jam plus tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

You can then either self cater for the rest of the day whereby you have the whole Riad to yourselves or you could arrange with Latifa to come and cook an evening meal for you.

The breakfast is included in the hire of the house but the evening meal is payable directly to her, please contact us for further information.

We have provided some books, games, puzzles, cds, dvds and videos for your use during your stay however please feel free to bring your own with you.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries , special requirements or just for a chat!

We know how precious your free time is and we are committed to make your stay a memorable one.

Happy Holiday, Vince and Carol
